The Service is owned and operated by Mcuztoms LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the NavMiles mobile application, website(s), content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). 2) Information We Collect

Account & Contact Data: name, email address, device identifiers, subscription status, and communications you send us (e.g., support requests, feedback).

Location & Navigation Data: GPS location, movement, route, trip logs, and related telemetry when you grant permission. You control these permissions in your device settings.

Usage Data: app interactions, feature use, crash reports, diagnostics, performance metrics, and analytics (which may be collected via SDKs).

Device & Technical Data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and approximate region inferred from IP.

User Content: optional hazard reports, notes, or other information you submit.

Payment Data: processed by app stores or payment providers; we generally receive tokens/confirmations, not full payment card details.

3) How We Use Information (Purposes)

We use information to: (a) provide and improve the Service (routing, trip logs, MPG tools); (b) operate subscriptions and billing; (c) personalize features and content; (d) maintain safety and integrity, including fraud prevention, debugging, and security; (e) analyze performance and usage; (f) communicate with you (service messages, updates, support); and (g) comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4) Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we rely on: (i) performance of a contract (providing the Service), (ii) legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), (iii) consent (e.g., precise location, certain analytics where required), and (iv) legal obligations.

5) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with: (a) service providers / processors who assist with hosting, analytics, error reporting, customer support, and payments; (b) map and navigation partners to enable routing and geolocation features; (c) legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property; and (d) business transferees in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6) Analytics, SDKs & Third-Party Content

The Service may use third-party SDKs and content (e.g., maps). These providers may collect or receive certain data about your device or use of the Service to help us with analytics, performance, or features. Their use of data is subject to their own privacy policies.

7) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access, correct, delete, or port your data; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

CCPA/CPRA (California) & Similar State Laws: You may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain data “sharing” or “sales” (as defined by law, including cross-context behavioral advertising). We do not sell personal information for money; if we ever engage in activities that could be deemed “sale” or “sharing,” you can opt out by contacting us at support@navmiles.com.

8) Do Not Track, Do Not Sell/Share

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals; we do not currently respond to them. If applicable law defines certain analytics/ads as “sale” or “sharing,” you may opt out as described above.

9) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and for legitimate business purposes. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and our obligations.

10) Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or the age of legal driving in your jurisdiction, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support@navmiles.com so we can take appropriate action.

12) Location Data Choices

Certain features require location access. You can enable/disable location permissions in your device settings. If you disable location, some features (e.g., navigation, trip logging, nearby gas) may not function.

13) International Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses).

14) Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may link to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing any information.

15) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
